He was predeceased by: his brother Cary. He is survived by: his daughter Kishal; his parents, Heinz and Renata; his brother Christopher (Sofia); his nephew Carlos; and his godmother Catharina. He is also survived by cousins and friends.

He passed on February 14th, 2023, still able to donate organs to B C Transplant.
