With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Antonietta Maria Luongo in Vancouver, British Columbia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husband Francesco Luongo; her parents, Antonio Merola and Assunta Merola; and her siblings, Raffaele, Sabato, Giuseppe, Giuseppina and Anna.
She is survived by: her sons, Dr. Rolfe Luongo (Nella), Dr. Tony Luongo (Jennifer) and Dino Luongo (Antonietta); and her grandchildren, Claudia, Allessandra, Isabelle, Anthony, Massimo, Francesco and Stefania. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bell Burnaby Funeral Chapel (4276 Hastings St, Burnaby, BC V5C2J6). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Helen's Parish (3860 Triumph St, Burnaby, BC V5C2A6). An entombment was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at the Ocean View Burial Park - South Mausoleum (4000 Imperial St, Burnaby, BC V5J1A4).
