He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret; his parents, Ila McPhee and Colin McPhee; and his siblings, Gordon, Jack McPhee, Thelma Price and Betty Erhardt.

He is survived by: his children, Gayle (Gerry), Gary and Lois (Greg); his brother Jim (Iris); his siblings-in-law, Reg Erhardt, Beryl McPhee and Audrey Turner; his grandchildren, Cheryl (Ryan) and Sandy (Alex); and his great grandchildren, Nathan Hirt, Claire Johnson, Caitlyn Hirt and Chloe Hirt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Those wishing to make a further remembrance for Bud may consider making a donation to the Canadian Red Cross, or a charity of their choice, in lieu of flowers.
