He was predeceased by: his parents, Christena Mary and John Duncan MacCalder; and his siblings, Frank, Alexander "Sandy" (Brenda) and Ena (Gordon).
He is survived by: his siblings, Margaret Isabel "Margie" Holliday (Kent), Angus Allan "Gussie" (Donna MacKinnon) and Ian Duncan (Kathy); his siblings' children, Alexis (Gerry), Natalie, Nadine (Shaun), Mary, John Glen, Alan, William, Michael (Mary Lou), Frank (Allison), Danny (Stacy), Jonathan, Luke and Simon; his uncle Frederick; and his aunt Mary. He is also survived by 19 grand nieces and nephews.
