It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David James LaPierre (Vancouver, British Columbia), who passed away on May 24, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald LaPierre and Antoinette LaPierre (Bilodeau); his brother Guy Gideon LaPierre; and his brother-in-law Dennis Loft. He is survived by: his wife Dolly; his niece Lisa Newton (Matthew); his great-niece Emily; his great-nephew Evan; his nephews, Joel and Michael Loft; his children, Michelle Fox (Ky) and Andre LaPierre (Birgit Wunsch) of St. Albert, AB.; and his grandchildren, Jacob (Anni Wang), Jessica, Benjamin Adelson, Finnian, Ayla, Saskia LaPierre, Oscar and Violet Fox.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to a charity of your choosing, or a tree planted in remembrance of him.
