He is survived by: his wife Mae; his children, Dennis, David (Isabel) and Launa; his granddaughters, Ashlee and Sydney; his sisters, Kay and Betty; his stepchild Marilyn (Janis); and his stepgrandchildren, Brent (Christina), Janessa (Eirik), Jordan, Nathan, Nora and Lucas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and many long-time friends.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the BC Cancer Agency is requested by the family.
