He is survived by: his fiancée Danielle "Dani" Turnquist; his parents, Frank Carpino (Bobbi) and Selena Carpino Nygaard; his siblings, Bobby Pearden, Sofia Carpino and Kaiden Nygaard; his grandparents, Tony, Flora Carpino, Lloyd Ladoucier (Denise) and Susan Oddy; and his pets, Eris, Gypsy, Atlas and Nero. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, cousins, colleagues and friends.
Donations can be made in Diego's memory to the Northern BC Friends of Children Society, a charity that originated in Prince George following Diego's complicated health issues at birth.
