He was predeceased by: his former wife Beryl; his siblings, Miriam, Ian, Mary Louise and Margaret; and his grandsons, Peter and Allan.
He is survived by: his wife Irene; and his sister Ruth. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
