We are sad to announce that on May 4, 2026 we had to say goodbye to Eva Lai Wah Yee of Vancouver, British Columbia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Shue Fong Ho and Sai Yang Pang; her husband Theodore Yee; and her son Edmund (May). She is survived by: her children, Marian, Marilyn, Favian, Theodore and Eva; her siblings, Marian, Marilyn (Bruce) and Favian; and her grandchildren, Cameron, James, Sean and Dylan. She is also survived by in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Ocean View Funeral Home (4000 Imperial St, Burnaby, BC V5J1A4). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Ocean View Burial Park (4000 Imperial St, Burnaby, BC V5J1A4).
In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations in Eva's name to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada, an organisation close to Eva's heart after it supported her through Theodore's journey with dementia, or Diabetes Canada.
