George Nestor Karas Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 14, 2026, at the age of 93, George Nestor Karas of Vancouver, British Columbia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, George is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He is survived by: his wife Andrée Karas; his daughters, Christina Wilkinson and Irene Karas Loeper; his grandson Connor Wilkinson; his brother Spiros Karas; his close friend Dick Reiner; his brothers, Chris, Dennis and Alex; his grandson Ryan Wilkinson; and his sons-in-law, Kevin Wilkinson (George) and Markus Loeper.
