George William Lenko Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George William Lenko (Vancouver, British Columbia), who passed away on July 12, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As George William departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved George William. Though George William may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, August 27th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Late in 2019, George suffered a serious stroke, and when the pandemic hit, he spent three years with his younger brother and sister-in-law, Tony and Lucy, and their family.

In lieu of flowers, George's family suggests a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of British Columbia.
