He was predeceased by: his parents, Beatrice Hamonic and Pierre "Pete" Hamonic; his wife Nini Hamonic; his brother Hilaire; his sister-in-law Dale Dixon (Bob); his niece Adele Morgan; and his great-nephew Justin Morgan.

He is survived by: his children, Wynn Hamonic, Shawn Hamonic (Donna Ganner), Tawd Hamonic (Nicole Cherneski), Ron Lesieur, Penny Lesieur and Remi Hamonic; his grandchildren, Aliyah Nute (Elijah Fransen), Graeden Nute, Peter Hamonic, Raquel Lesieur (Wayne Shinkaruk), Jay, Angela Lesieur, Krystal and Cody Nichiporik; and his cousin Laura Ching.

As a Catholic, dad was instrumental in the steering committee to build Holy Family Parish as well as encouraging his family to live their Faith in his spirit of charity and willingness to help anyone in need.
