She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Gold Brown and Edith Brown; her brother Ian Brown; and her son Jonathan. She is survived by: her friend Helen Woodward; her close friends, Margaret Knight, Victoria Williams and Tom Patterson; her caregiver Fahima Asiimwe; her children, Pamela (Donald), Marina and David (Allison); and her grandchildren, Regina, Duncan, Anson and Evelyn.
