He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Hastie and Pearl Hastie. He is survived by: his wife Janice Hastie (Smith); his children, Michelle Hastie (Jen Hastie) and Michael Hastie (Emily Hastie); his grandchildren, Devin and Eve; and his siblings, Tom Hastie (Liz Hastie), April (Gordon McSavaney) and Marietta. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
