She was predeceased by: her parents, John McTurk and Johnina Reekie; her brother John Matthew; and her husband Douglas Hayward. She is survived by: her daughters, Catherine Gay Hayward and Sandra Jean Hayward Murdock (Donald); and her grandchildren, Fraser Strachan, Cameron Strachan (Jelena Petrovic), Craig Strachan (Montana Reid), Heather Murdock, Richard Hobeck, Gustav, Charlotte, Jacqueline Murdock and Alexander Murdock.
