“Dawn and Sarah, I am so sorry for the loss of such a great man! I worked with Ian at the BDC, in the Surrey Branch for several years. Ian had so many good stories when we gathered in the lunch room! We shared about our kids injuries, and would listen to Ian and Peggy have story telling one-upmanship! Our stomachs would hurt after many, way too long, afternoon coffee breaks! Ian will be remembered with a smile by many, many people.”

“Dawn, Ian and I met when, in 1992, I moved into the same condo building where they lived in New Westminster, BC. Seeking to make social connections, I quickly connected with Dawn (a fellow McGill grad) and Ian. Ian was the definition of "charming" writ large. He was always welcoming - supplemented by his dry sense of humour. During 28 years since being their neighbours, they have always sent me Xmas cards. Dawn & Sarah: I wish that your fond memories of Ian stay alive in your hearts forever.”
