She was predeceased by: her parents, Maria Wiebe and Jacob Wiebe; and her grandson Jack Benson. She is survived by: her daughter Hilda; her family Alaska; her children, Louise (Doug Tennant), Fred (Bonnie Brauer), Erika (Steve West) and Doris Benson; her brothers, Ernie (Greta Wiebe) and Jake Wiebe; and her sister-in-law Lena Dyck. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Peace Church (659 E 52nd Ave, Vancouver, BC V5X1G8). During Covid we were very fortunate that she was still active, and we could meet her outside Shannon Oaks to go for walks with her.
