He was predeceased by: his son Jamie Platko; and his parents, Edna Terepocki and Mike Platko. He is survived by: his wife Sharyn; his children, Carlene (Mike), Shawn (Kam), Christopher (Samantha) and Charles; and his grandchildren, Levi, Leah, Zoe, Karleigh, Shyanne, Demitra, Andrew and Nicole.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Kanata Hall (7155 Blake St, Vancouver, BC V5S 3V6).

In lieu of flowers we will be accepting toys or cash donations for a local Christmas toy drive this next holiday season.
