She was predeceased by: her parents, Maxwell Gordon and Jessie Gordon; and her former husband Albert. She is survived by: her husband Warren; her sister Judith Wood (James); her stepdaughter Michayla Lay; her grandchildren, Maxwell Nichols (Tejas), Hugh Nichols (Alicia), Katherine Lay and Madeline Lay; her nieces, Margaret and Jennifer; and her great grandchildren, Gordon and Marlowe.

Well-wishers are encouraged to honour her memory by a donation to some Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, or to Planned Parenthood.
