He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Howard Herbert and Elsie Mable Herbert; and his brother Fred. He is survived by: his wife Ann; his children, Sherrill (Anthony), Jacquie (Craig) and Greg (Lan); his grandchildren, Oliver, Sofia and Asher; and his sisters-in-law, Adele Herbert, Isabelle Skolrood and Daphne Robertson.
