He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sibling's children, Rosie Peric (Eduard) and Steven Hecimovic (Kate); his brother-in-law Nikola Hecimovic; his friend Sister Kate Zupan (Stipe); and his parent Nikola. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the BC Cancer Foundation.
