He was predeceased by: his parents, Myron "Bud" Coates and Ruby Coates; and his brother Kevin. He is survived by: his wife Isabelle Maureen; his siblings, Dave (Carole), Gary (Sandra), Judy (Bert) and Holly (Pete); his sons, Bruce and Dallas (Ramona Elke); his grandchildren, Dylan Anderson (Haley), Kendra Anderson and Dante Coates; and his great grandchildren, Brynlee and Leland Anderson.
