He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter McConnell and Muriel McConnell; his sister Norma Marshall; his brother-in-law Norman Marshall; and his significant other Joyce.
He is survived by: his sibling's children, Patti Marshall and George Marshall (Terry); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jamie and Murray; his cousins, Gary and Dene Ferguson (Wendy); and his friends, Dave, Mim, Betty, Sandra, Sabrina, Jonathan, Donna, Dan and Diedre.
