Manuel leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Manuel’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Manuel will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Manuel DaSilva and Leonarda DaSilva; his mother-in-law Lucrecia; his children, Michael (Michelle) and Jennifer; and his grandchildren, Jayan, Arman, Isabel, Nicholas and Jack.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, November 25th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Croatian Cultural Centre (3250 Commercial Dr, Vancouver, BC V5N4E6).
Manuel battled Parkinson's disease for 17 years with incredible strength and determination.
