She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonios Balantes and Afendia Balantes; her brothers, John (Effie) and George (Aggeliki); and her brother-in-law George (Evangelia).
She is survived by: her husband Dimitrios; her children, Chris (Magaly), Antonia (George) and Theodoros (Thanh); her grandchildren, Eleni-Maria (Panteli), Dimitrios Paul (Maria-Teona), Dimitrios Alexander and Nicolas Marcus; her sisters, Anastassia (Achilles) and Evangelia; and her siblings-in-law, Spiro (Glykeria), Kaliope (Anastasios) and Irene (Kostantinos).
