With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marija Fumic (Vancouver, British Columbia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 8, 2025 at the age of 95. She was predeceased by: her husband Jure; her parents, Miko and Anka; her daughter Ružica; and her siblings, Ivan, Mila, Tona, Karlo and Mika.
She is survived by: her brother Nick (Doreen); her daughters, Zora (late Živko), Nevenka (Bepo) and Verica (late Ivica); her grandchildren, George (Marina), Gregory (Cari), Davor (Mary), Daniela (Frank), Nikolina (Matthew), Daniel and Catherine; and her great grandchildren, Nikolas, Ella, Violet, Matteo, Carlo, Angela, Tea, Maria, Daniel, Victoria, Luka, Olivia and Tanja.
A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Croatian Parish (3105 E 1st Ave, Vancouver, BC V5M1B6).
