He was predeceased by: his parents, Federico Dente and Maria Dente; and his wife Ida. He is survived by: his sons, Antonio (Filomena) and Robert (Rosa); his grandchildren, Jennifer (Shawn), Nancy (Denis), Mario (Julia) and Kristina (Richard); his great grandchildren, Ariana, Olivia, Ryan, Sienna and Marco; and his siblings, Genoeffa and Maliella. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
In Lieu of flowers, donations in Mario's honour may be made to the BC Heart and Stroke Foundation.
