It is with sadness that the passing of Mario Antonio Visintin (Vancouver, British Columbia) is shared. Mario, born on November 16, 1928, passed away on August 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Mario will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honour Mario by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Mario is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Mario’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Maria; his son Roberto; and his son-in-law Alan. He is survived by: his children, Nevia, Rosanna (John) and Luciano (Annamaria); and his daughter-in-law Carol. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Ocean View Funeral Home (4000 Imperial St, Burnaby, BC V5J1A4). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Parish (2025 Napier St, Vancouver, BC V5L2N8). An entombment was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Ocean View Cemetery (4000 Imperial St, Burnaby, BC V5J1A4).
