It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marta Luigia Bortignon (Vancouver, British Columbia), who passed away on June 25, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Giovanni; her parents, Ernesto and Carolina; and her brothers, Marcello, Bruno and Federico.
She is survived by: her sons, Louie (Delia), Ernie (Rossana) and Roger (Paula); her grandchildren, Brandon (Devon), Raquel (Matthew), Brian (Christie), Christina, Kristen (Dominic) and Cassandra; and her great grandchildren, Nico, Keely, Evyana and Nolan. She is also survived by many cousins, nephews and nieces.
A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Church (555 Slocan St, Vancouver, BC V5K3X5).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Sorrows Parish.
