She was predeceased by: her parents, Shotaro Yamakami and Onobu Yamakami; and her husband Dr. Patrick Masakazu Banno. She is survived by: her children, Douglas, Dean (Sarah), Leslie and Lynda (Patrick); and her grandchildren, Jaime, Justyne, Alexander, Christopher and Courtney.
