It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mee Ling Selina Yong (Vancouver, British Columbia), who passed away on January 6, 2020, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Peter Tet Choi Phung, Barbara Moi Thai Chen, Nyuk Fah Yong and Kiaw Chin. She is survived by: her parents, Catherine Yong and Henry Yong; her sisters, Melinda and Jennifer; her children, Kyra and Cade (Thorington); the father of her children Shane Thorington; and her pet Teddy. She is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donation be made to the SPCA in honour of Selina Yong.
