It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merlyn MacAlpine of Vancouver, British Columbia, born in Nipawin, Saskatchewan, who passed away on November 9, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Ervin and Geneva Ervin; her husband Ian MacAlpine; and her granddaughter Cheryl. She is survived by: her children, Karen (Lon Fraser), Cathy (Shawn McCormack) and Doug (Lisa MacAlpine); her grandchildren, Brad Fraser (Sharlotte), Keith Fraser, Shannon Cavanagh (Greg), Dan MacAlpine (Becca), Leanne Swaan (Jason) and Shawna McCormack; and her great grandchildren, Micala, Paige, Liam, Kylie, Addison, Kenzie, Hunter, Keira and Owen.
