He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrude Bennett and Patrick Bennett; and his siblings, Sandy Rodgers, Joan Haftner and Neil Rodgers.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Colleen Bennett; his sister Ann Cameron (Monica Petrie); his children, Patrick Bennett, Judy Hayward (Brock), Michael Bennett Jr. (Anita) and Christine Campbell (Cameron); and his grandchildren, Chelsy Campbell, James Bennett, Crystal Campbell, Melanie Boyle, Dustin Hayward and Annabelle Hayward.
