With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Sozonchuk of Vancouver, British Columbia, who passed away on January 21, 2021 at the age of 92. He was predeceased by : his siblings, Mary and Peter; his parents, Pearl and Tichon; his nephews, Scott and Paul; and his sister-in-law Marlene.
He is survived by : his wife Eleanor; his children, Kathy Andersen (Chris) of Alberta and Stephen Sozonchuk (Maggie Moser) of Toronto; his grandchildren, Steven (Inuvik), Katie (Vancouver), Michael (Vancouver), Erich (Calgary), Lizz and Micki; his great grandchildren, Rowan and Kingston; and his nephew Ron (Nancy).
We hope to be able to plan a memorial gathering when the pandemic restrictions are lifted.
