“I found out the passing of Mimi just today after failing to get a response for toooo long. It's a real shock to me. I met Mimi back in 1994 and we both helped to charter the Vancouver Cambie Lions Club then and became friends. Mimi has subsequently become my client. I am genuinely shocked as I was still seeing her during the beginning of the pandemic and she seemed vibrant albeit her kidney conditions. RIP Mimi. “I'm devastated. Mimi and I met in August of 2009. She came down to Seattle in May, 2011 and told me her kidneys were failing. I immediately offered one of mine. On December 3, 2012 I donated my left kidney to her. I loved meeting her brother Sam, and her parents. To the Luk family: I love you! My Taiwanese wife and I went up to Vancouver In June of 2018 and met her. Mimi was always so happy and positive. My deepest condolences to all of you who knew her.
