He is survived by: his wife Bronwyn; his sisters, Edelgard (Wilfrid) and Christiane (Klaus); his son Andrei; his brothers, Hartmut (Elizabeth), Klaus (Ursel) and Lubeck; his siblings' children, Lena (Markus), Nora, Birgit (Dominic), Alexander and Jörg (Kirsten); and his great-nieces, Anna Amalia and Lotte.
