Ritsuko Yoshida Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 24, 2026, at the age of 88, Ritsuko Yoshida (Vancouver, British Columbia), born in Langley, British Columbia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Ritsuko may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her husband Tsugio (Bill). She is survived by: her children, Linda and Ben (Cathy); her granddaughter Claire (Dennis); her sisters, Mutsuko and Ayako (George); and her sister-in-law Tazuko. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Glenhaven Memorial Chapel (1835 E Hastings St, Vancouver, BC V5L1T3).
