He is survived by: his aunt Hannelore Kahle (Gerd); his daughter-in-law Amanda; his granddaughters, Lilou and Drew; his wife Kathleen Anne; his children, Karyn Sutherland (Michael) of Kamloops and Christopher Kahle (Amanda) of Los Angeles; his grandchildren, Makena, Connor and Carson; his brother Hans-Jurgen Ruck of Neumunster; and his half-sister Ulrike Meis of Leverkusen, Germany..
