Sergio Gagno Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 24, 2025, at the age of 89, Sergio Gagno (Vancouver, British Columbia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Sergio farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Sergio is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He is survived by: his wife Maria; his daughters, Debora and Cinzia (Nick); his grandchildren, Ezrah, Luca and Mila; and his sister Bertilla. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Parish (555 Slocan St, Vancouver, BC V5K3X5). A committal service was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 12:45 PM to 1:00 PM at the Ocean View Burial Park (4000 Imperial St, Burnaby, BC V5J1A4). A reception was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 1:15 PM to 3:45 PM at the Ocean View Funeral Home (4000 Imperial St, Burnaby, BC V5J1A4).
