Shao will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around them. Though Shao is no longer present, the bonds they created and the experiences shared will endure. Shao’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew them.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 27th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mt. Pleasant Universal Funeral Home (306 E 11th Ave, Vancouver, BC V5T2C6). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Tuesday, July 28th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park (3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby, BC V5G3M1).
