Sheila Bernice (Squires) Uhlin Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sheila Bernice Uhlin (Squires) (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on February 15, 2022 in Vancouver, B.C. at the age of 80. Sheila was born in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
She lived a life filled with struggles and joy, her children were the cornerstone of her life and she was an immensely proud and strong matriarch of the family, her presence forged strength and loyalty with those that were lucky enough to be included and embraced in her life.
She is survived by her children, Kelly Uhlin–Ball (Whitby, Ontario), Christopher U Vaillencourt (Michelle) of Squamish B.C., and Valerie Uhlin of Squamish B.C. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Alysha McLeod, Katie McLeod, both of London, Ontario, Christopher Vaillencourt and Ty Vaillencourt, both of Squamish, B.C. She is survived also by her sisters Teena Penny, (brother-in-law Rick Penny) and Muriel Irene Piper (brother-in-law the late Norman Piper).
Sheila had many, many friends including her Group 1A friends from her Canada Trust days, - John, Rich, Pat, Renee and Margie. Her friends from Woodstock, Gayle and Claudia and the many, many others who were fortunate to have been called friends and allowed in her inner circle.
What this world has lost, Heaven has gained… A true Angel.
