As we bid Shirley farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Shirley is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Gretchen. She is survived by: her husband Lopito; her son Ian; her brother Larry; and her sister-in-law Gina.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Joseph's Parish (1612 E 18th Ave, Vancouver, BC V5N2H6). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Ocean View Funeral Home & Burial Park (4000 Imperial St, Burnaby, BC V5J1A4).
