It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Simon Ping Wah Ching of Vancouver, British Columbia, who passed away on November 4, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chiang Cheong and Lai Ah Yoon; his siblings, Chiang Ping Lam, Chiang Kam Yoke and Chiang Siew Keng; and his brother-in-law Brian Ng.
He is survived by: his wife Melinda Yoon Peck Im; his daughter Alison (Darcy McGowan); his grandchildren, Wally, Rhys and Tessa; and his siblings, Chiang Kam Foong (Leong Kok Hoong), Annie Chiang Kam Yip, Chiang Siew Leng (Rohan Seneviratna) and Chiang Kok Loong (Wendy). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, in Gong Gong's memory; go out and enjoy nature, plant a tree or vegetable and spend time with love ones- all the things that Simon so enjoyed on this Earth.
