Sylvia Jean Macintyre Obituary

We announce the death of Sylvia Jean Macintyre (Vancouver, British Columbia), who passed away on June 23, 2026, at the age of 74. Sylvia will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Mitchell and Thomas Mitchell; and her brother Tom. She is survived by: her husband Al; her daughters, Leah (Andrew) and Marie; her sisters, Susan (Mike), Sheila (Ramon) and Sandra; her granddaughters, Chloe and Paisley; her mother-in-law Connie; and her sister-in-law Sheena (Neal). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, dear cousins in Canada and the UK, extended family members, dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Sylvia's memory may be made to the BC Cancer Foundation or the Langley Hospice Society.
