He was predeceased by: his wife Joan; his son David; and his sisters, Jean and Frances. He is survived by: his daughters, Janet and Sharon (Stuart); his grandchildren, Dawn, Katherine, Carolyn, Steven, Heather, Thomas and Lindsay; his great grandchildren, Mya, Kai, Ava, Lily, Mark, Jack, Peter and Cobe; and his brother-in-law Iver (Doris). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
