She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellen Ashby (Roberton) and Judge Denzil Ashby. She is survived by: her husband Peter Russell; her sons, Paul, Michael and Zachary Russell (Chelsea Russell); her nieces, Hilary White (Wells) of Singapore and Adrienne Macaulay (Wells) of Edinburgh; her close friends, Sandy and John Shand; her nieces, Dawne, Trisha, Lesley and Helena; her nephew Dean; her friends, Sharon Lynn Jayatunge and Michael Prokopow; Michael and Chelsea.
Wendy retired in 2015, but her good taste in all things beautiful and the hunt for hidden treasures continued, regularly perusing downtown charity shops.
