“I worked with Wendy for many years when I was the director of the library of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC. She pushed ahead on many projects with drive and intelligence, and it was always a pleasure to work with her. Even after I moved to Montreal, we were in touch over history of medicine work through the Osler Library at McGill. I am so sad to hear of her passing. In fact, in my retirement, I was hoping to reach out to her with another bit of possible project together.”

“I never met Wendy, but I feel like I did. After Wendy retired from Doctors of BC in 2014, I was hired after her. I took over in the Archives and it was clear that she had a passion for Archives and Records Management. I know she was also a fan of rug hooking and had family abroad that she treasured dearly. In photos of her in the archives, she was always smiling. She left a legacy at Doctors of BC, preserving our history. She will be missed by many.”
