He was predeceased by: his parents, Yassin Mohammed and Kazim Mohammed; and his brother Adrian Mohammed. He is survived by: his wife Elisa Mohammed (Olaybal); his daughters, Jenny-Lee Boivin (Mohammed) and Maria Handley (Mohammed); his sons-in-law, Lyle Boivin and Stewart Handley; his grandchildren, Jack, Simon, Max Boivin, Aiesha, Francisca and Harland Handley; his siblings, Hanny (Harry), Jenny, Sherry (Ammanuel) and Salil (Florita); and his family, Gilda, Rufina, Robert, Virgie, Leon, Alma and Reuben. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and grandbabies.
A prayer was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the St. Andrew's Parish (480 E 47th Ave, Vancouver, BC V5W2B2). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Ocean View Funeral Home & Burial Park (4000 Imperial St, Burnaby, BC V5J1A4).
