He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake and Marion; his brother-in-law Ed; and his parents-in-law, Mary and Jim.

He is survived by: his wife Rita; his sons, James (Connie) and Darren (Janet); his grandchildren, Niall, Jordan (Parker), Baylee and Travis (Tatianna); his sisters, Joanne, Sharyn (John) and Sheila (Jim); and his sister-in-law Linda (Bill). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
