He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Nolan and Rene Nolan; and his brother Don. He is survived by: his sister-in-law Sue Nolan; his niece Kathy (Dennis); his nephews, Mike (Kathleen) and Tom (Barb); and his friend Blake. He is also survived by seven great nieces and nephews.

Blake was a lifelong freemason of the Kalamalka Masonic Lodge, and he demonstrated the tenets of morality, charity and involvement in one's community.
